Ingredients
- 70 gram oat-flakes
- 250 milliliter water
- 40 gram raisin
- 20 gram walnut
- 3 tablespoon greek-yogurt
- 2 tablespoon honey
- 2 piece fig
- 1 pinch cinnamon-powder
Tools
- large-pot
- spoon
- knife
Instructions
- Pour the oat flakes into a small saucepan and cover with cold water. Add the raisins and stir.
- Place the saucepan over medium heat and wait until the oatmeal starts to boil. Then reduce the heat to low and cook uncovered for 5–7 minutes, until the oats absorb the water and soften. You can gently stir during cooking.
- Separately, wash the figs and cut off the tough ends. Cut each fig into quarters or eighths.
- Add the natural yogurt to the cooked oatmeal. Stir to combine the ingredients. If you prefer a thinner consistency, you can add more yogurt.
- Divide the oatmeal into two portions. Top each portion with pieces of fresh fig.
- Sprinkle the oatmeal with crushed walnuts and drizzle with a spoonful of honey. Optionally, dust with ground cinnamon.
