  • sugar 1 teaspoon
  • fresh yeast 25 grams
  • milk 0.5 cups
  • butter 80 grams
  • egg 2 pieces
  • salt 1 teaspoon
  • ham 6 slices
  • yellow cheese 6 slices
  • ketchup 3 tablespoons
  • nigella seeds 1 teaspoon

Tools

  • bowl
  • spoon
  • rolling pin
  • oven

Instructions

  1. Put the flour in a bowl, make a well in the centre and add the crumbled yeast, sugar, a tablespoon of flour and half of the warm milk. Mix gently and leave to rise for 10 minutes.
  2. Add the butter, egg, salt and the remaining milk, then knead into a soft, elastic dough. Cover with a cloth and leave to rise for about 40 minutes.

  4. Spread each triangle with ketchup, place ham and yellow cheese on top and roll up tightly into crescents. Place on a baking tray lined with baking paper.
  5. Brush the tops with beaten egg and sprinkle with nigella seeds.
  6. Bake in an oven preheated to 200°C (400°F) for about 20 minutes.
